Job Description Designs solutions and influences the business requirements, functional and non-functional, to ensure solutions economically meet these requirements and implement the Office's IT strategy. Streamlines business processes, functions, procedures and workflows and applies a consistent implementation approach. Verifies feasibility in the development of new business processes and systems. Ensures that technical solutions, procedures and models for solution design and development are up-to-date and comply with standards. Provides leadership for the construction and implementation of long-term innovative IT solutions. Exploits specialist knowledge to provide analysis of the market environment. Acts with wide-ranging accountability to develop the strategy to implement IT technology compliant with business needs, considering the current technology platform, obsolescent equipment and latest technological innovations. Accounts for own and others' actions to ensure that the application integrates correctly within a complex environment and complies with user/customer needs. Detects signs of change to provide supervision and analysis of current and trend-setting IT technological developments. Establishes relationships with relevant communities. Applies independent thinking and technology awareness to lead the integration of disparate concepts for the provision of unique solutions. Accounts for own and others' actions in the integration process, complying with appropriate standards and change control procedures to maintain the integrity of the overall system functionality and reliability. Adapts the level of detail to meet the needs of the targeted population. Handles complexity by developing standard procedures and architectures in support of cohesive product development. Establishes a set of system requirements that will guide the design of the digital infrastructure. Identifies which system requirements and which functions should be allocated to which elements of the system and/or layers of the infrastructure. Analyses business processes and associated information requirements and provides the most appropriate information structure. Exploits specialist knowledge to research existing IT processes and solutions with the aim of drawing up possible innovations. Makes recommendations based on reasoned arguments. Evaluates security management measures and indicators and decides if compliant with information security policy. Investigates and instigates remedial measures to address any security breaches.
Qualifications Microservices Java Spring Boot Kubernetes CI/CD Enterprise Event Bus Cloud Hexagonal and DDD Minimum of 8 years of full-time professional experience in the tasks required for senior solution architects.
