Our team is looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professionals that will drive us forward on this exciting venture.How You'll Make an Impact / ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business requirements and designing data solutions that meet those needs.Advising on how best to connect data sets to create data pipelines that serve the business.Leading and mentoring other technical team members to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.Evaluating and recommending technologies and software tools to improve efficiency and productivity.Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and test plans.Ensuring compliance with software development best practices, standards, and guidelines.Providing technical leadership and support throughout the development lifecycle.Keeping up to date with the latest developments in data science principles, theories, and techniques to support the business in making truly data-driven decisions.Documenting and sharing methods, processes, and project results, and regularly communicating and presenting your findings.What You Bring / Skills, CapabilitiesYou will:Have a deep understanding of modern and secure cloud and data architectures and their constraints and limitations (e.g., AWS, Snowflake).Have experience in defining and implementing appropriate technical architectures for multiple simultaneous projects.Communicate concisely, clearly, and thoughtfully with all stakeholders, including senior business stakeholders as well as with other engineers.Act as a hands-on lead engineer (e.g., Python), when necessary, within a multi-disciplinary scrum team.Balance strategic thinking and agile implementation.Be comfortable balancing multiple conversations and relationships at various stages of exploration and implementation.Have experience advising on architectural options within the parameters of enterprise architectural decisions, budget, and resourcing availability.Be familiar with working with agile delivery methods.Simplify and accelerate projects.Be innovative and progressive in your approach.Set high standards across all your work and interactions.Be fluent in both spoken and written English (knowledge of German or any other language is a plus).Be motivated to contribute to the transformation and decarbonization of energy generation globally.About the TeamThe Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics organization has been established and designed to help Siemens Energy achieve our mission by becoming a data-driven organization.
