What you'll doVodafone Business is the enterprise arm of Vodafone Group, with over €10B in revenue we serve customers all around the world, from small and medium business (SMEs), to large multinationals (MNCs) with a wide variety of products and services. We are part of Vodafone Business Product Engineering and we are looking for a Solution Architect Lead – Cybersecurity.
We are looking for a hands-on cybersecurity expert with a collaborative mindset to lead the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge security products that we offer to our enterprise customers. You will drive the entire product development lifecycle, working in close partnership with product managers to translate market requirements into technical solutions. If you excel at turning complex security concepts into stable and scalable product technology, this is the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
• Technical Leadership: Drive the technical design and development of our cybersecurity products, leveraging the NIST framework (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).
• Solution Architecture: Create detailed cybersecurity architectures that address market needs focusing on one or more of the different pillars, end-user security, network security, cloud security, data protection, threat detection, and response mechanisms.
• Hands-on Development: Lead by example with strong coding, scripting, and tool usage skills while leveraging DevSecOps methodologies. Contribute actively to the development process, implementing core features, testing, and debugging.
• Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and integrate cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies to enhance our product capabilities.
• Collaboration with Product Management: Partner with product managers to understand customer pain points and translate market insights into technical product requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation of design decisions, implementation details.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation, and a focus on business outcomes.
Who you areWe are looking for someone principal skills:
Experience of hands-on building cybersecurity products or solutions focused on cybersecurity product development.Demonstrated understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.Strong architectural design skills, with the ability to create scalable, secure, and performant technical solutions that scale for thousands of customers.A proven track record of delivering technology-driven, cybersecurity products to market.Experience with modern software engineering practices, DevSecOps, and Continuous Delivery.Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCPNot a perfect fit?Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
