This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of engineering projects and ensuring the efficiency of our engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects and operations.Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and project managers.- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the team.- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development.- Project Management- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects from concept to completion.- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.- Implement project management best practices and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.- Manage project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.- Engineering Operations- Optimize engineering processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.- Establish and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering operations with other departments.- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive improvements.- Strategic Planning and Execution- Contribute to the development of the engineering strategy and roadmap.- Align engineering goals and initiatives with the company's strategic objectives.- Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance engineering capabilities.- Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on project and operational status.- Collaborate with product management, sales, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.- Budget Management- Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects and operations.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
