You will lead a talented team of professionals in a luxury resort environment while fostering a culture of excellence.What you will be doing:- Manage, lead and train all Purchasing and Receiving staff.- Ensure all Purchasing and Receiving procedures and systems are in place to maintain quality, quantity, storage and cost control measures.- Estimate costs according to market prices and review bid proposals with the ability to negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations.- Manage Monthly Inventory and oversee Storeroom upkeep.- Plan, prioritize, and execute purchasing strategy.- Oversee the administration and control of national commitment contracts.- Manage supplier-partner relationships to ensure contract compliance.- Maintain professionalism in all job performance aspects.- Supervise, lead, and motivate the Purchasing team.- Ensure the achievement of financial objectives through accurate staffing and scheduling.Qualifications:- 1-2 years experience in a similar role.- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.- Highly organized, results-oriented with flexibility under pressure.- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.- Experience with a unionized environment is an advantage.- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and possess a valid class 5 driver's license with clear abstract.Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 USDVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.Your team and working environment: Join our energetic and creative 'Ohana at the Fairmont Orchid
