Through DCP, AXA will serve clients and partners through an evolving business model, moving from loss prevention to loss prediction.AXA DCP aims to:Improve underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group.Create a platform for risk management and prevention services.Build an ecosystem of business partners.As a Procurement Specialist, your objective is to ensure the best value from 3rd party relationships while managing tasks required by the procurement policy and processes in cooperation with AXA DCP business stakeholders, AXA XL procurement teams, and following AXA Group standards. This role is dedicated to AXA DCP and interacts daily with various internal functions.The Procurement Specialist will support the Procurement Lead and AXA DCP's functions by leveraging processes and systems in place while creating effective processes for AXA DCP to achieve its ambition using the "freedom within boundaries" principle.Essential Responsibilities:Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate long-term-value contracts.Implement and upgrade policies and procedures governing procurement in line with AXA standards.Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, regulation, and AXA standards.Interact with key internal stakeholders to identify business needs and build relationships.Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.Report on purchasing activities and expenditure.Manage preparation and execution of procurement processes.Implement procurement processes for efficiency and cost savings.Perform sourcing, liaising, and negotiating with suppliers.Create documentation necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.Manage general projects linked to the Procurement function.Continuous learning and development of procurement knowledge and methodologies.Educate internal stakeholders on procurement and contract management principles.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, operations, supply chain management, or a related area.1-2+ years of direct experience with Sourcing and Procurement functions.Team player with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.Knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles.Good negotiation and contract management skills.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Action and solution-oriented with the ability to work autonomously
