Our goal is to bring components with the best quality and cost to deliver the best value to our customers while making a positive impact to our communities and environment.Main Responsibilities- Work with R&D and Engineering teams to industrialize and optimize the new components or modifications of existing ones in terms of Cost, Quality, Sustainability, Manufacturability, Resilience and Lead Time, and industrialize them thru the right suppliers.- Make sure that the Part Quality Control Plan is defined for each part, and it is properly implemented, thru periodical Quality System and Process Audits.- Lead the effort to meet the sustainability targets related to Mechanical Technologies.- Build market technology and cost intelligence at part/subsystem/function level, identifying the possible suppliers and supply chains.- Partner with Manufacturing Partners and Operations Teams to ensure the production lines receive parts on time with the best quality and cost.- Strong focus in cost control, cost reduction, and cost avoidance techniques.- Grow a strong partner relationship by building personal empathy and thru proactive and fair interactions with the different stakeholders in and out of HP.- Create commodity strategies and technical processes development roadmaps to meet the business targets.- Protect HP's business interests.What are we looking for?- Recent Bachelor's/ Master Degree in Industrial, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or Chemical Engineering and related fields.- Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.- Solid knowledge in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.- Programming skills in Python, C++ or a similar language will be highly valued.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Able to work from our Sant Cugat del Valles office (with Flexible schedule).- Fluent in English.- Strong communication and presentation skills: advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.- Proactive, curious, and dynamic personality: Capacity and eagerness to learn new things and be in different environments and workforces.- Solid adaptability and change management skillsWhat we offer:- Opportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues coming from all over the world.- Diverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities
