Information received relating to accommodation measures will be addressed confidentially.Position and ResponsibilitiesWorking as an electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment that are critical to the operation and restoration of in-situ mining.Will perform work related to instrumentation and PLC systems including power sources, sensors, communications, electro-pneumatics, and VFDs.Must also be able to analyze and repair equipment, motors and system failures.May be required to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.Education and QualificationsMust have a high school diploma and experience that qualifies as apprentice electrician.Ideally, you will have a valid journeyman license and at least 3-5 years of industrial journey level electrical experience.It is also imperative that you possess the ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team.Pay range for licensed journeyman will be approximately $68,000 to $83,000 depending on the number of years of experience.Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates for all positions that will involve work at Safety-Sensitive Sites or in Safety-Sensitive Positions must take and pass a Substance Test, which includes marijuana, as a condition of employment.
