Team Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core experts. Voodoo is creating a small experimentation team with a big mission: find the next best way to entertain the world by taking our best hits to a new level. You will be one of the first members of a team of six and you will participate in every aspect of development, from ideation to testing the casual games in the market. You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on a new midcore game.
Role Define the creative vision and direction of a live game, ensuring a cohesive and appealing visual style.
Lead the design and development of game assets, including characters, environments, and user interface elements, with a focus on creating a memorable player experience.
Drive the enhancement of the game with striking visual effects (VFX) and fluid animations, setting high standards for visual quality.
Coordinate closely with development teams to integrate artistic elements in Unity, addressing technical challenges through innovative solutions.
Guide the use of 2D and 3D techniques to elevate game visuals, making strategic decisions based on the game's needs.
Champion the adoption of advanced art production tools and techniques to streamline workflows and improve asset quality.
Profile Hands-on 3D Generalist with extensive experience in art direction within the mobile gaming industry.
Proven track record of successful projects and expertise in setting up the art direction for Live Games (at least 3 years of experience).
Mastery of Photoshop, Unity, and Blender (or equivalent 3D software), with a deep understanding of their application in game development.
Strong technical acumen to optimize assets and workflows for mobile platforms, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
Solid artistic foundations with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering visually stunning games.
