We help maximize the student journey at IE by serving as a platform open for the entire community, where we can gather in a competitive or recreational atmosphere and help each other grow together.
Within Sports & Well-Being, we house Recreational Sports, Performance Sports, and the Sports Facilities.Through a wide variety of well-being and sport offerings, no matter the interest or skill level, Sports & Well-Being will provide THE ENTIRE IE COMMUNITY with opportunities to pursue their definition of well-being and achievement.The primary function of the Sports & Well-Being Advisor is to provide support in the day-to-day operations of the on-campus Segovia Sports Facilities.

We provide them with the skills, knowledge and environment needed to make a difference, and they join a supportive and international community that lasts a lifetime.Our PeopleAt IE we are:People-drivenChange BuildersAutonomy EnthusiastsCommunication EnthusiastsKnowledge ChampionsWe are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Segovia.ResponsibilitiesYour role as Advisor will involve:Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and environment, adding value to the student experience.Provide outstanding customer service to students throughout each interaction.Become fluent in the utilization of our proprietary apps: IE Sports Reservations App and IE Connects; to manage the activities we hold in the sports facilities.Support students and other community members with the use of these apps.Know the proper utilization of the gym equipment we have in the sports facilities (training provided): both the machines themselves and their connectivity to the app.
Must be capable of transferring this information to the students and solving basic/common problems that arise with the equipment or the sports facilities.Organize and prepare the sports facilities for the different fitness & well-being sessions, and/or other activities, held within the spaces.Oversee & control the access to the sports facilities.Apply the general maintenance of the sports facilities to ensure the safety and care of users, the equipment, and the space.Follow the safety/security protocol and procedures, established by IE University and the Sports & Well-Being Department.
Must be able to make quick decisions, according to the protocol.Communicate and work with the rest of the Sports & Well-Being team to coordinate the use of the sports facilities.Contribute to the preparation of internal reports and presentations.Confer with Department Management about any concerns/issues that arise regarding all aspects of the use of IE Sports & Well-Being services/properties.Determine and/or analyze problems that may arise, offering solutions when necessary.QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you should have:Intermediate level of English.Excellent customer service skills with proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Tech savvy, able to quickly learn how to manage front-end & back-end of mobile apps & web-apps.Extremely organized and very detail-oriented.Experienced in working with other cultures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
