.About the roleAs a key role for the success of the brand in the fulfillment of customer orders, the Senior Logistics Specialist takes care of the organization of the vehicle logistic flows in Spain, leading the national logistic setup project and the ongoing management of the national logistics, in coordination with the Logistic department and other areas both in Europe and China HQ and local team in Spain. The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for finding the best solutions for all vehicle logistics potential issues to best serve our Dealers and our end customers.Senior Logistics Specialist key responsibility areas will be:Effective communication with all company departments in Europe, logistics colleagues from BYD China HQ, and external communication with LSP (Logistics Service Providers) and dealers; Operations within different systems used for the whole process control for the movement of the cargo or for finance control, for example, CRM, ERP, or SAP systems; Organize and provide real-time information for the POs and deliveries; Continuous improvement of the whole logistics flow; Control the logistics cost and provide the most efficient logistics solution.As a Senior Logistics Specialist you will:Daily communication with other colleagues, dealers, and LSPs (Logistics service providers); Arrange local transport as well as transport from EU ports to the National compound by selecting the most suitable suppliers and methods (trucking, shipping, or both); Daily contact with local logistics service partners to follow up on the real-time status of the shipments/transportations; Keep track of all the sales demands, shipments, and prepare all necessary documents and payments; Arrange commercial documents (invoices etc.) to be delivered to and handled by the related parties; Daily data maintenance and updates with systems & without systems (e.G., Excel); Participate andassist in setting up the BYD logistics supplier list; Be involved in monthly review meetings with logistics suppliers; Deal with the related paperwork for internal and external purposes; Monitor potential problems and bottlenecks and explore ways to improve the workflow; Provide supportto all procedures when needed.We hope you have:Preferably up to 3 years of automotive logistics-related working experience or a graduate of a related field; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, data analysis, or business management; Proficient Excel user skills; Excellent Spanish and English language skills; Chinese or any other European language will be considered an advantage; Stress-resilient with a problem-solving mindset; Team player with attention to detail.We offer:Job in a fast-growing company and industry which represents sustainable technology; Performance andexperience-based competitive remuneration, commuting allowance; Team building events and employee learning opportunities
