Seeking an analytical, resilient individual with a passion for sales and business development, who is available to travel and excels in fast-paced, multifaceted working environments.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:Assist the Chief Commercial Officer on various commercial, customer and project related matters.Handle relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area assigned.Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the commodities and logistics space.Apply creative thinking and explore unexpected approaches when analyzing potential business development targets or commercial opportunities.Maintain databases related to customers, prices, project and M&A targets.Lead discussions on commercial agreements, ensuring the terms are beneficial and balanced for both the company and the client and preparing proposals, contracts, and other deal-related documents.Participate actively in problem solving.Assist in handling ongoing commercial projects by working closely with the operations, finance, legal and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of client contracts and to meet service delivery standards.Regularly report on business development activities, market opportunities, and progress towards sales targets to the senior management team.Design and propose customized logistics solutions that meet the specific requirements of clients.Ensure that all business development initiatives meet regulatory standards and align with Impala's commitment to a sustainable logistics approach.Understand financial models and detailed valuation analysis to support analysis for deals or commercial assessments.Facilitate communication with key clients, partners, and third parties and coordinate client meetings, preparing materials, and following up on action items.Interact with senior team members and counterparty teams to perform transactions and identifying and leading all risks in a given deal.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEquivalent level to a master's degree or MBA is highly valued in business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.Confirmed experience in the same position, with a strong focus on logistics operation
