.At Iberostar we are looking for a PR Specialist to join our Brand Communications team LOCATED in Palma de Mallorca, Spain; but before knowing moreabout the position, we consider that it might be interesting for you to learn a little about us:We are a 100% family business (specifically, a family of more than 30,000 employees).We are operating in 35 countries and our headquarters is based in Palma de Mallorca.Our values (Passion, Responsibility, Transparency, Creativity and Humility) are very important to us, all our actions are aligned with them.We are pioneers in responsible tourism (Check out our Wave of Change movement to learn more).If this sounds interesting to you... maybe this is your place! :)Reporting directly to the Global Director of Brand Communications, and working alongside the Comms team, with the main objective / mission to increase visibility, desirability and brand equity of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts in key origin markets, in relevant consumer facing publications and channels.Based in Iberostar ´s headquarters, in Palma de Mallorca, your main responsibilities will be:Ability to clearly convey Iberostar Beachfront Resorts ´s international footprint, most desirable destinations and hotels, reasons for choosing us and differentiators of the brand and its segments.Strong awareness of international travel trends and best practices in hospitality consumer facing PR.Capacity to discover existing, and create new storytelling opportunities derived from hotel experiences and destinations. Working alongside Brand Experience and Operations.Manage the agencies to ensure that aspirational/top tier publications "open their doors" to listen and cover our stories that help us convey our messaging to consumers and to organise press events in origin markets or at our resorts for media, influencers and partners.Efficiently manage external PR agencies in UK and US ensuring the delivery of high ROI by means of increased visibility for our brand, desirability, media coverage, engagement, and relevance for our selected hotels and destinations in the most suitable titles.Identify and evaluate consumer facing brand partnerships that increase Iberostar ´s brand equity, visibility and affinity to market.Who is the ideal person for this job?Based in Iberostar ´s headquarters, in Palma de Mallorca, the successful candidate must be a native English speaker and ideally fluent in Spanish. An energetic team player, with excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills, creativity and capacity to deliver on clear objectives are a must.- Studies / Knowledge:- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, Hotel Management, Journalism or related field.- Masters Degree in Public Relations, Communications or similar
