.Embedded Software EngineerApply locations: Getafe AreaTime type: Full timePosted on: Posted YesterdayJob requisition id: JR10244909Job Description:An opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).Mission:Within the Embedded Software Engineering department, the candidate will be involved in software development & verification for high integrity airborne Real-Time systems. The candidate will be involved in the complete life-cycle of the embedded software product, from building the software requirements through to final testing and target computer implementation. The candidate should be able to lead and take responsibility for design/architectural decisions as well as lead a specific project development.Projects will consist of embedded software development for EF2000 and FCAS.Activities:Work at all levels of embedded software development according to specific SW standards (SW Requirements, SW Design, SW Coding, SW Verification, SW Configuration, SW Documentation release, SW Change Management, and Support software QA).Partner with Product/Program Managers, System Engineers, and Validation to drive software products.Participate in the planning and scope for the team projects.Support Product Owners and PMs to deliver high quality software on time.Commit and deliver high quality software deliverables on time, cost, and quality.Promote innovation across the department.Conceive team structure and constantly seek opportunities to adjust team structure to maximize agility and efficiency.Skills:We're looking for candidates with the following skills:Educated in a Telecommunication, IT, Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.Expertise in Real-Time software.At least 5 years of experience in related positions.Expertise in C/C++ and Ada (Low-level development).Expertise in software verification.Experience with Design Tools (HOOD, Rhapsody), integrated development environments (GPS, AdaMulti, Eclipse), verification tools (TestStand, AdaTest95, IBM RTRT).Software Certification: DO-178B/C, EFA Standards.High level of English and Spanish.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Defence and Space SAUEmployment Type: PermanentExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Software EngineeringBy submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
