Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleReporting to the Mine General Supervisor, you will be part of a team responsible for the daily operation of Cameco's McArthur River Mine.In this role, you will:Be responsible for the short term (i.E. daily, weekly) management of production drilling, raiseboring, underground mucking, and underground construction.Help with the reliability of underground mining equipment activities, continuous improvement, mine safety and mine QMS management.Have a proven history of leadership in providing safe and reliable execution of tasks, business focus, developing others, building relationships, and achieving results in a mining environment.Have excellent communication skills, working with minimal direction within a multi-functional mining team, displaying initiative and striving to achieve results.Required:Grade 12 diploma.Minimum of 10 years of mine operational experience, underground preferred.An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Previous front line supervisor experience.Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan supervisor's certificate.Great understanding of mine safety and safety systems.Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.Recommended:Familiar with Bentley would be an asset.Mine Blasting Certified or familiar with mine blasting activities and able to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting Certificate.SAP experience.Understanding of reliability centred operation.Previous uranium mining experience.Familiarity with iOS devices.Conditions of Employment:- Substance Test.Cameco is proud to offer a competitive total reward package which includes:Competitive compensation program with base and variable pay.Flexible health, drug, dental, and vision plan with a health spending and personal spending account
