I am looking for a Bioprocess Scientist with strong expertise in biocatalysis processes to join an innovative and driven team.Job Description:Reporting to the Bioprocess Manager, the Bioprocess Scientist I&TD will play a central role by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design new processes for the manufacturing of APIs; coordinate and lead relevant works performed by our partners and CROs. Design and execute laboratory trials for the development and optimization of biocatalytic transformations.Key responsibilities:1. Design new processes for the production of new pipeline APIs.2. Design and execute laboratory research while overseeing work done by technicians.3. Project planning and management to achieve deadlines.4. Technology transfer to manufacturing site collaborating with Tech Ops team for a successful process implementation.5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enzymatic processes into overall drug development pipelines.6. Lead collaborations with partners and CROs with a deep understanding of technologies applied.7. Ensure compliance with GMP and Safety regulations in all activities.8. Monitor internal and external developments in the biocatalysis field for applicability, including benchmarking of the technology against competitors by performing literature and IP searches.Key requirements:1. PhD in biocatalysis, biochemistry, or related discipline.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.3. Deep understanding of enzyme technology, bioconversion, and enzyme purification techniques.4. Advanced level of English language (written and spoken).5. Knowledge of GMP.6.
