In this position, you will work closely with team members on a daily basis to balance the delivery of innovative and valuable developments with maintaining software that is both robust and user-friendly. You will play a key role in ensuring that our solutions not only meet immediate needs but also provide long-term value and reliability for our customers, contributing to both ongoing improvements and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:Help define the product vision & roadmap as part of the product leadership team.Be the primary interface between customers, stakeholders, and development teams.Work with the team to gather information to enable evidence-based decisions.Manage product backlogs and provide high-quality acceptance criteria.Evaluate and report on progress.There are plenty of opportunities for personal growth through our 70-20-10 philosophy (70% learning on the job, 20% coaching, and 10% training) and an individual career development plan. Essential Skills:Degree level education or above in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics subject.2-3+ years relevant professional expertise in solar PV energy.Enjoys working in a collaborative, team environment and speaking with customers.Ability to understand complex problems, simplify, and communicate them.An effective communicator, to colleagues and to customers.Desirable:Motivated to work in renewables and accelerate the energy transition.Existing network of connections in the solar energy industry.Basic (or higher) programming experience (Python, C#, C++, Matlab).Experience of other PV modelling software.Familiar with European/US Solar PV markets.Experience of working in an agile software development team.Additional languages to a conversational level.
