Software Tester / Developer

The Tester / Developer will report to the Technical Manager of the Secretariat of the Association, and he/she will be responsible of the following functions: 1) As a Developer: • Participate in the writing of the specifications of the software to be developed.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
2) As a Tester: • Planning tests, designing and preparing tests cases/scripts/data/environments.
• Executing tests, reporting issues/defects, and verifying fixes.
• Reporting test results.
3) Also: • Gathering and evaluating user feedback.
• Recommending and executing improvements.
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
• Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
• Training users.
• Creating technical documentation for reference and reporting.
