We are looking for a Software Test Engineer - Automation & Framework Development to join our GF_IT team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing frameworks, a deep understanding of software quality assurance best practices, and hands-on experience with testing tools, preferably .NET technologies. However, we are also willing to teach C# and .NET to the right candidate. This role is critical to ensuring the robustness, reliability, and performance of our software solutions. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Test Automation Frameworks Design, develop, and implement robust test automation frameworks. Ensure the scalability and reusability of the test automation framework. Create Automated Test Scripts Develop comprehensive automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. Collaborate with the development team to ensure test coverage for new and existing features. Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Monitor and maintain automated testing processes to improve the efficiency of the deployment cycle. Analyse and Report Test Results Execute test cases and report defects with clear steps to reproduce, logs, and other relevant data. Track and document software testing outcomes, ensuring timely communication with developers and project stakeholders. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to refine requirements and develop a thorough understanding of the software features. Participate in code reviews and testing discussions to contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy. Stay Updated with Industry Trends Keep up to date with emerging test automation technologies and industry best practices. Recommend new tools and frameworks that could improve efficiency and quality. To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering either Java, Python, or C# .NET. Minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation engineering with a preferable focus on .NET applications. Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit/xUnit, or similar. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.G., Postman, RestSharp). Knowledge of version control systems (e.G., Git). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.G., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
