The Software Project Managerwill help the team and the product stakeholders to define, follow and track the activities required to achieve the goals. They will also support the team in removing roadblocks and facilitate their work, taking care of all non-development activities for the team, and protecting developers from any avoidable interference. What will you do? As part of a team of software and firmware engineers, work on R&D projects within the aeronautical sector related to software technologies. Define and estimate tasks with the team members aligning with the high-level project activities and milestones. Plan the team's short-term activities to align them with the project management goals. Track task execution and help the team to continuously improve task estimations. Coordinate with project managers to report project status and deviations from the plans Provide support to the team in non-development activities: Management of issues with tools (CI and IT) Management of leave, vacations, etc Tracking purchases Channeling support requests to the appropriate people What are we looking for? Mandatory requeriments: You MUST be based in Malaga or willing to relocate. Candidates who want to work from another part of the world will not be considered. 5 years of experience in a management role (e.G. project manager, scrum master, team coordinator...) Previous experience as SW developer. It is important to us that the coordinator understands what the team does Fluent English AND Spanish speaker. Some members of the team do not speak Spanish so you'll have to communicate with them exclusively in English, while others struggle with English so you'll have to communicate in Spanish
