In this role, you will conduct comprehensive software-related research using online resources and communication with customers and software vendors. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and validate software information to support project objectives and data quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough research using online resources to gather software-related data, including features, licensing, pricing, and vendor details. Engage with customers and software vendors via email and calls to gather additional information and validate existing data. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all researched information in the designated databases or systems. Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive coverage of software information and maintain data quality standards. Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or gaps in data to the appropriate stakeholders. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables to support the overall objectives of the project. Required Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to perform meticulous and repetitive tasks with accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with customers and software vendors. Comfortable with conducting calls to gather information. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment. Ability to work across organizations and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Proficiency in using online research tools and databases for information gathering. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in research. Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
