Previous leadership experience in IT, preferably in the insurance industry, is ideal.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership Development: Lead and mentor developers, ensuring alignment with product goals and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and address knowledge gaps through training and development.Technical Leadership Strategy: Define and drive the technical vision, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Promote best practices, conduct code reviews and stay updated on industry trends to enhance team knowledge.Collaboration Cross-Organization Coordination: Work closely with Product Managers, QA and Release teams to align priorities and clarify requirements.
Manage complex escalations and provide technical guidance for critical issues.Hands-On Technical Oversight: Engage with the codebase, mentoring through complex development, coding, debugging and performance optimization.
Advocate for Java best practices and drive innovation through AI and optimized tooling.Requirements6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a good proficiency in Java and related frameworks (ex.
