.About the Job :Sanofi's Digital Manufacturing & Supply Solution Engineering & Delivery organization is dedicated to developing and maintaining digital solutions used across our industrial sites for managing manufacturing, quality, and administrative processes.Our web application platform team creates web products to enhance manufacturing efficiency, monitor product quality, and track business performance.As the Software Engineering Lead within the Web Application Platform, you will guide the software engineering team, ensuring high-quality project delivery within stipulated timelines.This role involves providing technical leadership, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring the success of software projects.Main Responsibilities :Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team to foster a collaborative and innovative environment. Ensure the technical integrity and quality of the projects are maintained.Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects on time and within budget. Coordinate with other departments to ensure project objectives are met and risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner.Coding and Development: Lead by example through hands-on coding, code reviews, and best practice implementations. Ensure the adoption of appropriate technologies and tools to deliver high-quality software.Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their needs. Communicate effectively regarding project status, technical issues, and solutions.Process Improvement: Advocate for and implement agile development practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Assess and improve engineering processes to optimize productivity and quality.Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of code, architectural designs, and project artifacts. Promote knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.About You :Experience & Knowledge: Cloud software development in a DevOps environment. Experience coordinating a small team of developers working on production applications. Experience working in an agile environment. DevOps automation standards with integration in product delivery suites like Jira and Confluence.Technologies and Techniques: Strong software development skills, ideally in TypeScript using NestJS and VueJS (other languages considered). API technologies: GraphQL, REST. Strong DevOps knowledge. CI/CD with infrastructure as code and Git version control. Experience with serverless and/or microservice-based environments. Infrastructure knowledge from at least one major cloud provider.Core Competencies: Analytical mindset and understanding of business processes. Team and task coordination. Operational focus.
