At TomTom, we are seeking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with experience on MLOps environments to join our ML platform team.
As part of this team, you will be at the forefront of transforming our AI/ML capabilities throughout the company, paving the way for other teams to revolutionize the world of mapmaking with innovative, scalable and cost-efficient ML-powered solutions.
What you'll do: Collaborate in a cross-functional team of data & software engineers and data scientists to design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure serving the whole company.
Design, develop and maintain ML pipelines, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
Contribute to optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for deployment in big-data environments.
Collaborate closely and effectively with other teams to integrate ML models into their products and services.
Monitor and troubleshoot production ML systems to ensure smooth operation.
Contribute to the development of best MLOPs practices within the company.
What you'll need: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Proven experience in scaling up machine learning models for production deployment.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Proven experience in big data pipeline development and management in Spark.
Familiarity with cloud-first distributed compute and orchestration systems.
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and best practices.
Excellent writing skills for documenting technical designs and operational processes.
Ability to design and implement efficient and effective technical solutions.
