Our goal is to become the world's leading market maker. To achieve this, we tackle the most challenging problems using cutting-edge quantitative research and advanced machine learning techniques to build automated trading systems.We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Market-Making Platform Team. You will work with talented engineers and traders on developing and maintaining high-performance systems that drive our trading strategies.What you'll be doing Designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency, high-throughput Java applications for market making and algorithmic tradingIntegrating with market data feeds, execution venues, and internal systemsPerfecting a number of systems that our business depends on, such as risk management, booking, and analytical servicesWhat you'll need Fluency with Java6+ years of experience in backend developmentA bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar fieldTo be a quick learner with an ambitious attitude and results-driven personalityThe ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and organisational skillsFluency in EnglishNice to have Experience in a trading environment, such as an investment bank, hedge fund, or trading firmExperience in financeExperience in low-latency programmingExperience with Market Data FeedsExperience in a start-up or scale-upCompensation range Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
