Software Engineer II (ADAS) - Madrid

What you'll do:Work with a team of engineers to develop high-quality softwareParticipate in all phases of the project lifecycle - gathering requirements, designing solutions, building new interfaces, integration with existing architectures, development, and testing codeBuild scalable, highly available and resilient applications by utilizing the optimal cloud technologies and programming languages and frameworks that best suit your use casesBuild iteratively using agile methodologiesWhat you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science2+ years of professional software development experience in at least one modern programming languageStrong Computer Science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysisComfortable with written and/or verbal communication in EnglishDesire to learn and expand your skillsetAble to solve a complex problem on his/her own by utilizing experience and other resourcesNice to have:Knowledge of Computer Vision, SLAM, and 3D reconstructionExperience with some cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GC) or DatabricksKnowledge of SQL databasesPrevious experience with working, processing, and visualizing GeoSpatial Data at scale (e.g., experience with QGIS or cloud-native geospatial tools)What we offer:A competitive compensation package, of course.Time and resources to grow and develop, including a personal development budget and paid leave for learning days, as well as paid access to e-learning resources such as O'Reilly and LinkedIn Learning.Time to support life outside of work, with enhanced parental leave plus paid leave to care for loved ones and volunteer in local communities.Work flexibility, where TomTom'ers, in agreement with their manager and team, use both the office and home to focus, collaborate, learn, and socialize.
