The Role: The Software Engineer role is focused on driving the success of our highly technical user base of developers and technologists at 100k+ organizations worldwide through product innovation. In this role, you'll work alongside our global team of elite developers to design and build innovative product features for our Git productivity and collaboration tools.

What you'll bring: 5+ years of experience in software engineering Development experience with Javascript/TypeScript: Node.js, build and bundling tools such as Webpack and esbuild Experience working with Agile teams Experience with UI Front-End development in Javascript and proficiency in React.js, Node.js and Redux.js Understanding of Database Development: As a full-stack software engineer, you might be expected to interface with NoSQL database systems such as MongoDB and Redis Experience with Dev Tools: Expertise with Git, GitHub, GitKraken, Docker, or Jenkins is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish About You: You are passionate about making development easier, more accessible, and inclusive. You have a product-centric mindset that you use to understand business needs. You have the technical and interpersonal skills to collaboratively design scalable systems and engineering solutions that meet those needs. You employ strong senses of empathy and curiosity to build experiences that delight your users. You are comfortable operating in a loosely coupled environment but tightly aligned towards a shared vision. You have the communication skills required to collaborate with and influence teams and individuals in order to drive initiatives forward without a strict top-down mandate.
