As a software developer for the brake control system, you will ensure the vehicles come to a stop safely and efficiently.You will be part of the engineering team for our international locomotive projects in Europe, Asia and North America. Our locomotives can reach speeds of up to 230 km / h and carry loads weighing several thousand metric tons.You will find a team, where software and hardware colleagues work hand-in hand.You will collect requirements and create software solutions for the drive / brake management.You will develop project-specific software modules for brake control units with the help of a graphical development tool (continuous flowchart) and test it both in the laboratory and on the locomotive itself (test centers are available for this in Germany and the Czech Republic).You will pick up market requirements and trends and derive from them the technical further development of the traction control system.You will with your team on solutions for current design, new customer requirements, improvements and new functions.You will always stay focused on the reusability of your results to foster our platform strategy.
