We're recruiting a Sr Quality Analyst/Software Development Engineer in Test to join our amazing Barcelona team!
Responsibilities:Work with QA Leads and project stakeholders to Build in Quality.Support both Automation and Manual testing activities.Support and contribute to the overall CI/CD strategy for our products and for the company.Contribute to the estimation & planning of team's tasks for each release, including identifying quality risks and constraints.Review your team's test case suites, test execution progress and quality deliverables.Monitor and compile Automation test results and communicate these to the project team, drive toward continuous testing.Take part in root cause analysis of Quality issues.Evaluate new QA tools & processes and introduce tangible improvements to Quality.Contribute towards the Automation testing framework.Be comfortable supporting Automation for microservices architectures.Work with a variety of tools - Jira, Work Collaboration Tools (Confluence), Jira Test Case Management system, CI/CD pipelines, etc.Peer review Automation code for other SDET's, Developers, etc.Escalate issues appropriately to project stakeholders.Collaborate with other teams for dependencies.What we look for/who would prosper in this role?4+ years as a Test Automation Engineer with web services, backend systems or microservices.API, DB, Functional & Non-Functional testing.OO Programming language (Java or similar).Advanced experience with API testing including creation of automated tests (Karate, Rest Assured or similar tools).Cucumber or other automated testing frameworks.Version control systems such as Git.Build tools such as Maven or Gradle.Continuous Integration platforms such as Jenkins/GitHub Actions or similar.Strong analytical skills, logical and structured approach into test planning, execution and analysis.Strong organisational & communication skills.As we evolve and grow as a business, so will you.
