Interested in working with the latest technology in the cloud computing space?
If you're thrilled by the idea of ownership, passionate about creating new platforms, features and services from scratch and comfortable with the pace of a company shipping software in cycles measured in weeks not years, we would love to connect with you.
Amazon continues to reach new heights with a growing and diverse global workforce that spans 54 countries and over 2.8M active workers.
Current predictions are that the total Amazon workforce will surpass 10M active workers by 2025.
This means that we need a new, built from the ground up, Human Capital Management system that will allow for quick changes to business processes necessary to support emerging needs.
These new systems will make sure that we can meet the needs of Amazon as we scale, and guarantee the HR systems are in high standards that Amazon demands.
The core data platform's primary goal is to give access and storage of human capital information to a large ecosystem across Amazon and its associated vendors.
Data from our platform is vital to calculate compensation, payroll and benefits, in hiring, onboarding and separation activities, security and access controls, fulfillment center operations, and to build many other low friction business processes and world-class experiences for everyone at Amazon who innovate on behalf of our customers.
We are looking for developers with strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, object-oriented design, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
If you have a track record of designing and building scalable, complex solutions across distributed systems in an agile environment, we want to talk to you.
