Key Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop innovative software solutions to further enhance the performance, availability, and durability of Amazon Aurora.Collaborate with a team of engineers to push the boundaries of the PostgreSQL engine and storage integration.Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities within Aurora.Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to Aurora's functionality.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in database technologies and PostgreSQL developments.A Day in the LifeAs you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you'll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects. The Aurora PostgreSQL team is seeking passionate software engineers to join our core development team. You'll have the chance to own the design and development of critical software components that power our industry-leading cloud database service.
In this hands-on position, you will be asked to do everything from building rock-solid components to mentoring other engineers. You need to not only be a top software developer with a good track record of delivering, but also excel in communication, leadership, and customer focus.
