Design, develop, and maintain at scale a variety of stacks which includes front end (React) and back end (Java) components running on AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to disambiguate and overcome the challenges on the way.About the teamAs a relatively new team (3.5 years), we carry little tech debt. We prioritize writing high quality and maintainable code, sticking to Agile (Scrum) methodologies, and building systems that leverage existing tools to provide extensive test coverage across our services.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience in professional, non-internship software development.Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
