As part of SciY, the software division of Bruker, we collaborate closely with other SciY and Bruker companies to achieve our goals.JOB SUMMARY:Mestrelab Research-SciY & Bruker are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a strong background in bioinformatics, computational biology, structural biology, or bio-NMR spectroscopy to join our team. The developer will focus on creating and optimizing software solutions for analyzing protein dynamics using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) data. The ideal candidate will work closely with a team of scientists and project managers from the multinational company BRUKER to understand customer needs and deliver robust, user-friendly tools to facilitate research.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications for processing, visualizing, and analyzing protein dynamics data collected via NMR spectroscopy with minimal supervision.Ensure that software deliverables are of high quality and are completed on time.Lead and participate in code reviews.Analyze requirements and translate them to task specifications.Collaborate with NMR-spectroscopy experts to understand requirements and implement computational tools that meet scientific needs.Develop and implement algorithms for spectral data processing, peak detection, assignment, and relaxation analysis.Integrate developed tools with existing bioinformatics pipelines and databases.Optimize software for performance and scalability when handling large, complex datasets.Write clear, well-documented code, and provide user manuals for the developed software.Prepare reports and analyses on progress with appropriate recommendations or conclusions.Stay up to date with advancements in computational protein dynamics and NMR spectroscopy.Fluency in English; the interview will be conducted in English.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily after an appropriate training period.
