Job summary EXFO's product for 5G & 4G network monitoring, analysis & optimization is evolving towards cloud-native architecture in order to enable full automation capability, ML/AI algorithms for network analysis and high scalability to address the needs of 5G networks.
You will be a member of a scrum team focused on the implementation of a radio optimization tool for mobile network operators. As part of this team, you will participate in the development of a microservice-based web application.
What you'll do Participate in the development of new functionalities in the front-end and back-end of a web applicationParticipate in code reviewsParticipate in the definition and evolution of the product architectureCollaborate in the maintenance and evolution of CI/CD workflowsElaborate software documentation and production documentationParticipate actively in scrum ceremonies and technical meetings and contribute to improve our engineering standards and processesWhat we're looking for Technical skills Experience of back-end development: Java, Go, RESTCI/CD tools knowledge like GitlabVirtualization experience is a plus (Docker)Mobile network technologies knowledge like GSM/GPRS, UMTS and LTE is an added valueKnowledge of microservices and micro-frontend architecturesRequired aptitudes Willingness to work in a highly team-oriented environmentAbility to analyze technical challenges and propose solutions with autonomyGood written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility and adaptability to work in changing environmentsInitiative to bring new ideas and propose improvementsPassion for good coding practices and high-quality codeMust have Language requirements: Fluent in English and Spanish
