Job purpose/summary: As a Social Media Strategist, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective social media and digital content strategies for diverse clients, enhancing their online presence and advancing their marketing and branding objectives. The strategist should be proficient in executing strategies, leveraging social media positioning, and collaborating closely with other team members to implement these. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of contemporary social media with strong knowledge on culture, channels, trends and influencers as integral components of the social media ecosystem rather than isolated entities. You will collaborate closely with departments across different regions and timezones, maximizing the power of Data, Brand Strategy, Social Strategy, Content Creative, and others, to serve our high-profile global clients effectively. However, you must also be capable of working independently to meet deadlines and address business challenges proactively.Duties and responsibilities Strategy and brand stewardship: Development robust strategies, based on the understanding of each client's objectives, brand message, voice and target audiences; Be an additive member of the strategy team, contributing to thinking and development of our product and services; Design engaging narratives that support and tie together the strategic thinking; Work on consumer journeys and articulate findings and opportunities through compelling storytelling.Present strategies comprehensively to clients and colleagues, confidently explaining and supporting your thinking; Use your analytical mind to define KPIs & drive business results for clients;Understand and interpret data analytics that inform social opportunities in social, with a keen eye for content, partnerships and influencer opportunities;Ensure the highest-quality work is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner, focusing on effective processes across the team.Look beyond the day-to-day needs of current work to ensure the relationship's long-term stability, growth, and revenue.Stay updated and analyze the latest trends in social & influencers; Monitor social media content across channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Discord, YouTube and more and advise on how to create content that suits the different platform roles; Team work: Create and nurture internal relationships with all the teams involved in the daily work to foster collaboration; Work as part of a global company operating as one team, and be able to successfully direct work at a distance, across teams and time zones;Inspire and support creative teams to develop impactful social ideas translated across channels, building brand equity and driving measurable ROI.Background and skills: A minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar role at a marketing or advertising agency in a creative, dynamic and digital environment;In-depth knowledge of social media and the digital environment, including formats and trends as well as the wider influencer universe; Ability to build integrated digital or social media strategies and define roles for social media platforms.
