POSITION OVERVIEW: We're looking for an Esports Fan.
Esports knowledge and/or being an avid gamer is required for this role, as the Social Media Manager will be the voice of the team's social media channels.
We're looking for someone who has an abundance of knowledge specific to League of Legends and Valorant.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing all MAD Lions Spanish social media channels including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, etc.Produce and post social content tailored to each channel on a daily basis, including creating post visuals and copy, while remaining on brand.Stay current with social media, pop culture, League of Legends, Valorant, and gaming trends.Engage with fans on social media to embed MAD Lions as part of the esports community.Cover MAD Lions matches live on gameday, including weekends.Develop creative ideas to garner attention and engage the esports community.Work with the content team to establish context for long-form content.Develop contextual micro content across various digital media platforms.Forward-thinking initiatives to increase user awareness, acquisition, and activation.Optimize marketing programs and channels to increase impact.Establish MAD Lions as a leading team in the esports industry.Develop MAD Lions as a lifestyle and urban brand.Establish relationships with brands, singers, influencers, and other personalities.Help players with their social media presence.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: University degree or college diploma in a field related to Communications and/or Marketing, or related work experience in a community management, content, or marketing role.Experience with current digital media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch.SKILLS & ABILITIES: Fluent in English and Spanish.Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills with the flexibility and experience required to adjust to rapidly changing schedules and shifting priorities.A hands-on problem solver and critical thinker with strong attention to detail.Ability to ideate visuals for social, both from scratch and/or adapting current designs.Motivated by highly collaborative, fast-paced environments, with the ability to balance several projects simultaneously.Knowledgeable in current marketing trends, both traditional and digital.Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.Passion for identifying upcoming technology/culture trends.Benefits: Compensation commensurate with experience.Extended Healthcare Benefits.Being part of a winning team, changing the world of sports & entertainment.
