Our culture sets us apart from the rest; social and diversity clubs are part of our essence and day-to-day culture.Mission and Responsibilities:Our translation team is currently seeking a Localisation Specialist and Content Manager. They will ensure localisation of all content (marketing campaigns, payment platforms, legal) from Openbank and Zinia (web and app) from Spanish and English into German, so that it resonates with target audiences and is linguistically, culturally, and functionally engaging.This entails in-house translations/localisation, proofreading of translated content, performing quality checks and linguistic testing, and providing continuous feedback to external language service providers as part of ongoing quality control.In addition to the linguistic component of the role, the successful candidate will help manage Openbank's and Zinia's website and digital platforms in their respective languages, working with a Content Management System (CMS) and other tools to create, upload, and review digital content.Main Tasks:Ensure translation and localisation of complex projects, working closely with vendors and other in-house departments.Manage day-to-day interactions with language service providers, ensuring quality levels and project deadlines.Manage linguistic resources: style guide, glossaries, translation memories, etc.Create and upload content to digital platforms using the Content Management System (CMS) and other tools.Test Openbank's and Zinia's websites and apps for linguistic quality and identify and solve localisation issues.Minimum Requirements:To be successful in the role you must have:Native speakers of German, as well as full professional proficiency in Spanish and English. Grammar nerds welcome!Bachelor's Degree in Translation/Localisation/Applied Linguistics or similar.Minimum of 1 year experience related to the localisation/translation industry and/or linguistic testing for the German market.Desirable: Experience in working with CAT tools (translation memories, QC tools, etc.).Desirable: Experience in working with Content Management Systems (CMS).Desirable: Experience in translating creatively/copywriting or marketing for the German market.Quality- and detail-oriented.Strong organisational skills.Able to multi-task and work well under pressure with a can-do attitude.Problem-solving capabilities.Self-starter and pro-active.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment.Interest in continuing to learn about new technologies and new tools.What Do We Offer?Joining a dynamic and agile company undergoing international expansion.Working in start-up mode with the support of the Santander Group
