The Sneakers Designer will play a crucial role in our design team, leading the creation of cutting-edge sneaker designs from concept to final product.
This position requires a deep understanding of sneaker culture, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate market trends into innovative and commercially viable products.YOUR CHALLENGE:Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization and design of new sneaker collections, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products to inform design decisions.Concept Development: Create mood boards, material & colors boards and sketches to present design concepts and ideas.Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and factories to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials, components, and finishes that enhance the design and functionality of sneakers.Technical Specifications: Develop detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and production-ready files.Innovation: Drive innovation in design techniques, materials, and technologies to stay ahead of the competition.Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from internal teams, consumers, and market tests into final designs.YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF…Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in footwear design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative sneaker designs.Proficiency in design software: Adobe Creative Suite, hand sketching, 3D software and IA would be a plus.In-depth understanding of sneaker construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.Strong creative vision with the ability to translate concepts into commercially successful designs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.Up-to-date with the latest trends in fashion, design, and technology.#J-18808-Ljbffr
