? What is the job about?
The SMT Line Operator will oversee the operation and maintenance of SMT lines, including soldering and assembly machines. This role involves managing materials, performing quality control, and supporting engineering processes to ensure efficient production.
? What will you do?Machine Setup and Operation: Prepare, set up, and operate SMT machinery, ensuring optimal performance throughout the production process.Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on products to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications.Data Entry and Traceability: Accurately register production data and maintain traceability records for all processes and components.Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards.Soldering Operations: Perform various soldering tasks, including manual soldering, reballing, selective soldering, rework, and repairs.Engineering Support: Collaborate with process engineers to optimize production processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention: Implement and maintain FOD awareness and prevention practices. ? What profile are we looking for?
Mandatory:
Certificate of Higher Education in Electronics or related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in SMT line operations, including hands-on experience with SMD machinery.IPC-A-610 (Soldering) Certification.IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness) Certification.Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Proficiency in electrical/electronic troubleshooting.Competence in MS Office and related software applications.Valuable:
J-STD-001 Certification (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).ESA (ECSS-Q-7008, 7028, 7026) Certifications.IPC-7711B/7721B Certification (Rework, Repair, and Modification of Electronic Assemblies).Experience with coating processes.Experience with full electronic circuit card assembly. ?
