DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly expanding our remote sales function to drive growth across a set of AWS' Small and Medium Businesses.
As an Account Executive at AWS, you will focus on new customer acquisition, utilizing solution-specific targeted campaigns to help grow consumption of current and net-new AWS services, and working with our channel partners to accelerate growth. In this full sales-cycle quota carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud.
In order to harness the innovation and scale of services AWS offers, you will leverage internal resources to engage with our customers to execute their strategic objectives and adapt to changing market trends.

Key job responsibilities
As an Account Executive at AWS, you will:
Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets in a defined territory
Develop and execute against a territory sales plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline, including opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business in untapped customers
Ensure customer satisfaction
Analyze metrics and data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy
Grow and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption

Our Cloud Sales team helps businesses start their journey to the cloud, and advises AWS customers on how they can leverage AWS services to further enable their growth. We work at the edge of technology innovation, and are focused on helping small and medium businesses transform through technology and build for the future.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience selling cloud computing solutions and services, particularly in a software company environment
Proven ability to proactively grow customer relationships, while deepening understanding of the customer's business needs and challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage and present to executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite, IT, and cross-functional business leaders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in technical sales for B2B or in a solution-sales/technology-related environment
Domain experience working with Small and Medium Businesses
AWS Certification (e.g., Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)
