.col-wideJob Description:**Head of Procurement - AB Neo****Location**: Fraga, SpainLeading the AB Neo procurement community, the AB Neo Head of Procurement plays a key role in building and delivering opportunities through active engagement and collaboration with teams across AB Neo, coordinating activities across the Neo sites in Spain, UK, Denmark and Poland ensuring we leverage our combined scale.Based in Spain and working closely with the site leadership team this role has dual responsibility for leading the AB Neo procurement community and ensuring the local site are well serviced by the Spanish procurement function. This role will also work closely with the AB Neo senior team, particularly the Commercial,Finance and Supply Chain Directors to ensure timely procurement of high quality and cost-effective commodities.**Key Responsibilities**- Lead and develop the AB Neo Procurement team to ensure they can respond quickly and positively to changes in the business and, more broadly, within the industry- Work collaboratively across all Neo Sites to drive improvements in the Procurement function- Monitor the performance of supply agreements and take action to ensure performance criteria are fulfilled- Coordinate strategic procurement of commodities and non-commodities in line with overall budgets- Establish AB Neo's position on traded products to maximise products and provide contract management expertise to other business functions as required- Evaluate total value chain to identify the best strategic approach to deliver maximum value and deliver the customer needs.**Skills and experience**- Significant experience of raw material buying.- Experienced in the end to end Procurement process.- Experienced in developing,maintaining and managing credible and beneficial stakeholder relationships.- Comfortable with managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.- An excellent people manager, able to motivate, develop, lead and inspire a team based across different sites.- Able to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.**Good for people, Good for business**We're AB Neo, a specialist business bringing together the expertise of four successful companies with the aim of revolutionising nutrition for all neonates.
