You'll plan, supervise, and troubleshoot slickline jobs, making quick decisions to optimize well performance. Your technical expertise and adherence to safety protocols will ensure precision in downhole interventions. By collaborating with wellsite teams, you'll drive operational success and contribute to the long-term safety and productivity of oil and gas wells.You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Slickline Specialist (Supervisor)
Job Design and Planning: Collaborate with wellsite engineers and supervisors to design and plan slickline operations that meet well intervention objectives efficiently and safely.
Supervision of Operations: Oversee the setup, execution, and conclusion of slickline operations, ensuring that equipment is operated safely and that interventions meet performance goals.
Downhole Tool Deployment and Retrieval: Perform advanced well interventions, including fishing, plug setting, valve operations, and well diagnostics. Ensure tools are properly deployed and retrieved from the wellbore.
Pressure Control: Manage high-pressure well conditions by utilizing pressure control equipment such as blowout preventers (BOPs) and lubricators, ensuring safety throughout the operation.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve downhole issues during well interventions, making quick decisions to optimize outcomes and mitigate risks.
Data Recording and Reporting: Accurately document all aspects of slickline operations, including depth, pressure, and tension readings. Provide detailed job reports to wellsite management.
Safety Compliance: Lead the enforcement of all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that slickline operations are compliant with industry standards and that all personnel are protected.
Equipment Maintenance and Inspection: Ensure slickline equipment is in top working condition, conducting regular inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime or safety issues.
Team Leadership and Training: Provide guidance and mentoring to slickline operators, helping to develop their skills and ensuring efficient team performance.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Slickline Specialist (Supervisor)
Experience:
Extensive experience in slickline or wireline operations within the oil and gas industry.
Proven expertise in performing advanced slickline interventions, such as fishing, plug setting, and well diagnostics.
Extensive experience working in high-pressure well environments and operating pressure control equipment (e.g., BOPs, lubricators).
Previous experience in leading or supervising wellsite operations is highly desirable.
Educational Level:
High Diploma or higher degree is required.
Technical training in well intervention or oilfield operations is a significant advantage.
Skills:
In-depth technical knowledge of slickline tools, downhole equipment, and pressure control systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve downhole issues.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and ensure effective communication and collaboration with wellsite supervisors and engineers.
High attention to detail and proficiency in accurately recording operational data.
Excellent decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure and complex operational environments.
Commitment to safety standards and operational excellence, with a focus on preventing accidents and minimizing risks.
Strong physical fitness and capability to work in remote or harsh conditions for extended periods.
Certifications:
Well Control Certification (IWCF or IADC) is required.
H2S Safety Training is mandatory.
First Aid and CPR Certification is required.
Additional certifications in Pressure Control, Downhole Tool Handling, or Rigging are advantageous.

Working Days Hours: Rotation (6x3).
Location: Jalu - Libya.
