We are one of the most promising European technology companies to watch.What you will doOversee all aspects of financial management, including management and analytical accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, cashflow, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. You will be building the finance function almost from scratch.Accounting:Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition, with our external accountants.Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and preparation of financial statements - for internal and external stakeholders. Provide meaningful analysis and insights on results, variances, and trends.Coordinate our external advisors on reporting, accounting, taxes and payroll, as well as annual financial audits.FP&A:Collaborate with functional heads on budgets.Support COO on financial projections and pricing models.Controls:Create strong processes to monitor, manage and control expenses against the company budget, including expense reimbursement, headcount, T&E, etc. Manage record keeping. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Operations:Manage AP/AR, employee reimbursement, company credit card & payment processes. Recommend and implement the right controls.Additional financial duties as necessary.Requirements:5+ Relevant years of Finance and Accounting experience at Big4.Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting.Experience working in start-up companies is a plus.Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closing, reporting, etc.) Solid knowledge of IFRS is required.Data-driven and goal-oriented, you measure success both quantitatively and qualitatively, and understand the importance of both
