Site Reliability Engineer (m / f / d)

At Best Secret, we are passionate about building software that solves problems. We rely on our Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to empower our users with solutions that offer a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance to pursue their missions.
We are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, a unique viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating within a cross-functional team to develop solutions for a positive user experience.
Your responsibilities
Develop software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
Actively shape, build, and continue our production environment while maintaining a holistic view of system health.
Enhance the reliability and quality of our software solutions by automating deployments, dependency checks, updates, and more.
Provide primary operational support and engineering expertise for distributed software solutions.
Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance services through rigorous testing and release procedures, as well as improve automation and/or introduce new automation/frameworks based on findings.
Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning to create sustainable systems and services through automation and improvements.
Your qualification
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related disciplines.
Proficient in coding (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, C / C#, or Rust.
Experience with distributed storage technologies as well as dynamic resource management frameworks.
Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
As a person you are well structured and have an analytical and goal-oriented way of working.
Excellent English communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and opinions to stakeholders.
