Job Description:
Interpret bid drawings and specifications, determine materials cost and availability from local and international suppliers, compute materials and labor quantities to generate cost proposals.
Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site inspections to determine full project scope and actual site conditions.
Collect and/or prepare documents for technical submittals.
Coordinate with the Production Department and Technical team for mock-up drawings and samples.
Provide cost advice during the design process.
Identify project risks and give recommendations to eliminate and/or mitigate these.
Participate in technical clarification meetings. Gather all pertinent details to eliminate contract ambiguities and ensure that final cost estimates are based on accurate and complete information.
Revise cost estimates as needed.
Participate in kick-off meetings to discuss scope, site conditions, bill of quantities, special instructions with members of the project team.
Provide advice to the Purchasing team regarding materials specifications, costs, and vendors.
Keep abreast of government rules and legislation (local and national) that may impact contract execution and cost of construction projects.
Keep abreast of new standards and regulations, technological innovations, and learning opportunities in the field of cost engineering.
Participate in post-project review activities: analyze bid contracts documents, variation orders, and actual project cost. Capture learnings, document, and communicate these for future projects.
Qualifications:
College Degree – BS Civil Engineering, licensed CE.
2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in an architectural and/or interior design/fit-out company.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
