The Site Manager coordinates and leads the assembly and commissioning process of customer projects on site. They coordinate the installation of Kardex machines and all subsystems included in the Kardex scope (hardware and software). They act in close cooperation with the Project Manager and represent the interests of Kardex towards the customer, the customer's representatives, and the Kardex suppliers. In this role, they also act as the first point of contact to the customer regarding Health & Safety and the organization of the daily business on site.
Ihre AufgabenMain Accountabilities (tasks and responsibilities):
Execute site surveys prior to start of installation including documentationCoordination & supervision of the installation and commissioning of all subsystems within the Kardex scope including active participation in the assemblyAssist the integration of all subsystems into a functioning overall system under the direction of the project managerTechnical instruction of assigned employees as well as supervision of work progress, installation quality, and resultsKnowledge of the entire system scope including all interfaces to Kardex suppliers and the customerProactive on-site coordination with the customer (e.g., represent Kardex in site meetings)Conducting regular site meetings with internal and external partiesTracking the schedule and meeting milestones, proactive reporting of deviations to the project managerDirect reporting to the project managerOffload, check for correctness/completeness, and transport of the Kardex equipment to the installation siteOrganization of return shipments for parts, materials, installation toolsProactive communication with the factory, subcontractors, and the project managerCompleteness check and functional tests of subsystemsAssist the project manager during functional/acceptance testing and customer handoverFilling out and submission of assembly & commissioning checklistsEnsuring site documentation (e.g., additional services, assembly hours, site journal) and change documentation (e.g., recording of technical changes, plans, parts lists)Ensuring compliance with local and customer regulations as well as health and safety regulationsConduct Health & Safety briefings for all suppliers working on siteMaintains constant cleanliness of the site to provide a safe work environment that ensures efficiency and quality at workIhr ProfilTraining/Education:
Technical education (mechanical or electrical)English CEFR Level B2 (advanced intermediate)Professional Experience:
3 years of experience in assembly and commissioning of systems, ideally in the intralogistics automation industry3 years of experience in installation or site management roles in the intralogistics automation industryTechnician with extensive knowledge in the fields of mechanics and electricsBasic knowledge of frequency-controlled drivesBasic PLC knowledgePreferable experience in leading installation teamsCar driving licenseLocal language skills, spoken and written (EN + SP)Special qualifications required by local regulations (e.g., forklift license, electrical certification, health and safety certification, medical certification)MS-Office knowledgeOther:
