Site Manager / Siderurgia – Acería (Luxemburgo)

In Melt Group we are looking for a Steel Equipment Site Supervisor for a large EPC project of Metallic Structure for an international company dedicated to the design/engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of turnkey projects related to the Metals Sector (Steel Plants, Oil & Gas, Metalic Furnitures… ).

Functions to be performed: Manage the planning of the metal project phase. Supervise the construction of the steel structure phase. Monitor the performance of subcontractors. Supervise the start-up of the plant. Support and report to Site and Project Managers in the relationship with contractors. Daily and monthly reporting on the project. Establish, monitor and maintain quality control procedures. Provide solutions when any setbacks arise. Desirable requirements: Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field. It is essential to have at least 5 years of professional experience in similar positions, preferably in engineering or international assembly companies. Knowledge and experience steel structures Teamwork skills. Motivated and project-oriented. Good communication skills, to deal effectively with foreign contractors. Fluent in English (written and verbal) is mandatory. Offered: Employment project contract (with trail period) with the prospect of being hired for the Company. Salary range: Pending experience+ expatriate conditions (hotel accommodation, insurance, travel, per diems…) Rotation 90/30or 60/10.
