Job Description: Ferrovial Construcción Energía has recently been established to develop the Energy business within the Construction Division as part of the strategic framework Horizon 24, integrating currently the activities of T&I, renewable generation, and Energy Efficiency contracts.
Currently present in Spain, Portugal, and Chile, with the intention of expanding to all key geographies for Ferrovial Construction, with the USA being one of them.
Misión: Depending on the Project Director, your mission will be to lead the construction of wind farms and photovoltaic plants directly on-site, coordinating the different subcontractors and managing the resources assigned to the project.
Funciones: Lead the on-site construction of renewable energy plants, ensuring compliance with safety and health policies, deadlines, quality, and costs. In coordination with the project director and purchasing department, negotiate and finalize contracts with various subcontractors. Coordinate different subcontractors for all matters related to the project's construction. Maintain constant collaboration with the Engineering Department to find the best technical solutions. Meet the project's needs regarding deadlines and quality of the work. Supervise that the various subcontractors have the necessary materials and tools to carry out the work. Plan the phases of the work, ensuring the necessary internal and external resources for complete construction. Control schedules and milestones, monitor performance for each activity of the project. Prepare and implement acceleration plans to meet committed deadlines. Ensure project planning, analyzing possible deviations and improvement plans for each item. Requisitos: Preferably a degree in engineering (civil, industrial, energy). Training in Occupational Risk Prevention is valued. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the execution of renewable energy projects on-site. Availability to work on-site for the duration of the project. Experience in coordinating work teams and different project subcontractors. Minimum level of English B2. Knowledge of MS Project and Autocad is valued. International geographic availability is valued. Aptitudes: Leadership skills, high autonomy, and proactivity in proposing solutions or improvements. Organized person with a comprehensive view and versatility, with analytical and conflict resolution skills, planning, and project management. Communication skills: assume responsibility for liaising with clients, engineering firms, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ability to communicate technical matters to people at different levels within the organization. Flexibility and ability to react under pressure. Teamwork capability. Results-oriented approach. Strong technical profile.
