Initial point of contact for carriers (all Modes of Transportation (MOT) - Road, Rail & Marine) to inform them of scheduling plan exceptions.
Utilizes Material Flow Work Process knowledge to develop and optimize the scheduling plan and proactively resolve any deviations and/or conflicts from the normal shipment process.
Develops technical skills on the job to perform routine work activities using existing standard operating procedures.
Completes assigned tasks with a close to moderate degree of supervision.This role requires that you gain proficiency through on-the-job training and experience.
You need either deep skills in this discipline or knowledge of a range of processes, procedures, and systems.
You also need a broad understanding of the job and know how to apply knowledge and skills to complete assigned tasks.
