Summary
The ITOT Automation Engineer will be required to oversee the OT scope of Semi-automated and Automated lines being deployed and operated across the RLT Network. In this role, will oversee a team of Automation Specialists responsible for managing the automation and computer system validation for an automated manufacturing line used in radioligand therapies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the OT scope of the automated lines across the network, managing the team effectively, and coordinating with cross-functional teams both locally and globally. Strong communication and leadership skills are required, as the Automation Engineer Lead will be responsible for interacting with the automated line vendor and ensuring that timelines and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Automation Specialists responsible for the operation and maintenance of an automated manufacturing line for radioligand therapies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, to ensure smooth operations and efficient collaboration.
Oversee the OT and computer system validation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Interact heavily with the automated line vendor to ensure timely delivery, effective troubleshooting, and adherence to SLAs.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the OT systems used on the automated manufacturing lines. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any issues or challenges related to the automation and computer system validation processes.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring their continuous professional development and growth. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to automation in radioligand therapy manufacturing.
Role Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in managing teams in an automation or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge and understanding of automation systems, computer system validation, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of radioligand therapy manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus.
Fluency in English written and verbal is required for this role.
